In addition to providing payroll services to local clients in Manchester, Stockport, Macclesfield, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and the rest of Cheshire, Alderley Payroll Services service clients throughout the UK. There is no practical restriction to your location because payroll data is transmitted electronically. This makes the service both fast and efficient with most payrolls processed and returned the same day they are received.

The benefits of outsourcing your payroll

Outsourcing your payroll carries many benefits. Whether you are a small (single director company) or a large company we provide expert advice in the field of PAYE and workplace pensions. The time you will save not having to keep up to date with the current legislation will enable you to focus on other aspects of your business.

Processing your own payroll in-house has its own complications when your payroll clerk is on holiday, off ill, or leaves/retires, this creates a vulnerability in your payroll process. We can guarantee that your payroll will be processed on time, every time with accuracy. Not to mention the significant saving with not having to employ an in-house payroll processing team.

We will ensure RTI filing deadlines are met and at no extra cost we can be the authorised agent for your company, handling tax code notices, student load notices and dealing directly with HMRC with PAYE queries.

Not only will you avoid the software costs associated with payroll processing, but we can customise the payslips with your company logo and tailor the information included within the payslips and summary report to your requirements.

With the payroll data at our fingertips, we can produce all manner of reports. Not only does this mean you avoid spending time pulling the data together yourself, but we don’t charge for these extra reports! It’s not uncommon for accountants of our clients to request year to date information, and with the client’s authority, we are happy to work with the accountant directly. Reports can be produced in either PDF, excel or CSV files, to enable you to work with your data in the most efficient ways.

At Alderley Payroll Services we pride ourselves on a quick turnaround for both payroll processing and any questions you have.

We are GPDR compliant and take data security very seriously, using a range of measures to ensure data safety and protection.

If you would like to outsource your payroll processing needs, please get in touch!

Working with accountants & bookkeepers

If you are an accountant or bookkeeper and looking to outsource your book of payrolls we can help! We are sensitive to the fact that outsourcing your client payrolls can feel unsettling and because of that we will work with you to ensure we offer the highest level of service.

We offer a tailored service. What does this mean? Well, if you want us to send payrolls directly to your clients, we can do this. If your client has a payroll question they can email or ring us as many times as they need, with no fee. If you would rather still be the point of contact for your client, we can communicate only with you.

At no extra fee we can provide you with a wide range of reports, whether this be year to date breakdowns for each employee, or a high-level report showing the total figures over any period. The reports can be produced in a variety of file types to ensure you don’t have to spend time transferring data from PDF files into your worksheets, and all reports are password protected in line with GDPR guidance.

Discounts are available to accountants and bookkeepers. Please get in touch for a custom quote.

CIS Suffered & Deducted

We can handle your CIS duties, whether this is filing CIS deductions suffered, or CIS deducted, producing payment and deduction statements to email on to your subcontractors.

As part of the CIS service, we can verify new subcontractors ensuring the correct rates are used.

Auto Enrolment & Workplace Pensions

Every employer in the UK has workplace pension duties, this is called auto enrolment. All employees must be offered the chance to join a workplace pension scheme and depending on the employee(s) earnings must be automatically enrolled into a qualifying workplace pension scheme. Not only that but all employees must receive a pension letter within 6 weeks of their employment start date.

For new employers you will also need to file a declaration of compliance with The Pensions Regulator within 5 months of your legal duties start date.

At Alderley Payroll Services we can handle all aspects of workplace pensions, from the letters, employee assessment, pension set up, declarations of compliance and re-enrolment.

Cloud Service

As well as offering our usual high quality standard service, we can also provide you with cloud solutions. If you decide to use our payroll cloud service you will be provided with your own company dashboard as well as your employees having their own dashboard, all of course password protected and customisable.

The benefit of our cloud service:

  • Quickly access payslips and reports for previous periods.
  • Access to reports even when on the go.
  • Employer dashboard can be customised with your company logo.
  • Employees can also have their own dashboard.
  • Payslips sent via the cloud to employees each pay period.
  • Employees can view previous payslips.
  • Employees can change their own address.
  • GDPR compliant.

Paying Employees & HMRC

In partnership with Modulr we can make payments to employees on your behalf. There are many benefits to outsourcing this part of the process, with some of these listed below.

  1. Save time and maximise efficiency: Remove the manual processes and the risk of insecure file transfers. There’s no more need for manual exports or file uploads to banks.
  2. Secure and compliant networks: Get peace of mind with secure, encrypted communication between parties, with easy to manage approval flows.
  3. Real-time and 24/7 payments: Get ultimate convenience with real-time payments with Faster Payments, providing the flexibility to schedule payments in advance or make last minute changes.

Not only can we make payments to your employees, but we can also make the PAYE tax payment to HMRC allowing you to no longer worry about missing any deadlines!

Our partnership with Module will save you time and money, whilst providing you with the security that employees and HMRC are being paid the correct amounts on time.

“As a finance support and bookkeeping business, payroll is fundamental to our client offering.  We have outsourced this service to Alderley Payroll for around 3 years now and it’s fair to say we couldn’t manage without them.  Payroll is complex and they really are the experts.  They respond quickly to queries, work to resolve any issues through to conclusion and are professional with our clients.  On top of all that, they’re great value for money!  We are extremely happy with their service.”

They are consistently competent and reliable.  They are friendly and patient, using initiative when necessary to ensure I provide an excellent service to my clients. Their expertise saves me time and effort because I can readily tap into theirs. I am a very, very satisfied client and have no hesitation at all in recommending them.”
